Soaring Spirit

Soaring Spirit was inspired by my mothers wonderful North West Coast Native American Art Collection as well as growing up in the North West.  As one of the key players in North West Coast legends and stories, the Raven symbolizes change in life, creativity and humor.  He is also known as the one who brought light to the earth.

 

We found Creating the design of this beautiful piece very challenging but fun as we brain stormed various ways to incorporate the fish, bear, whale, owl and other symbols into the design.
